King Qin Shihuang founded the Qin Dynasty in 221 BCE. He integrated China and joined the separated walls of the various states and extended it further to prevent the sporadic attacks from the Huns and to establish peace in his kingdom. The invasion from Xiongnu, an ancient minority from the north often brought in disorder while intrusion by Yigu was also rampant. Thus a strong wall was built along the northern frontier. The task
of building the wall was an overhauling project.
It involved hard work by millions of people for 10 years. The Wall of Qin lie in the Gansu province and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
