Old Dragon Head The Old Dragon Head was constructed during the Ming Dynasty between the years 1368 to 1644. Old Dragon's Head (Laolongtou) is the eastern end of the Wall. It got its name from the dragon like head which was stone carved and faced the sea. The original structure had long ago broke down and has been replaced by a replicate of the original. The Changtai Tower and the Temple of the Sea Goddess was initially built in 1579 but was later rebuilt into replicas of soilders adorning the costume of the Oing Dynasty. |
