Huangyaguan Pass

History
The name Huangyaguan Pass takes after the yellow hills nearby. Established in Tianbao (557 A D), the Huangyaguan was repaired by the Ming Dynasty first with bricks and again in 1985. It was in 1986 it became one of the important relics shelter objective of Tianjin City.

The height was around 738 meters. To its east there are cliffs and to its west there are crags. The pass meanders its way over the mountains like a dragon.

Since the great wall encloses the country and runs along its natural boundaries of mountain peaks and links the crags and cliff, it is often very high or low and appears rather dangerous. But complementing the dizziness of its height are springs and waterfalls which are natural scenic spots.

Great Tourist Spot
Huangyaguan Pass is also selected as the national defense education base of Tianjin Special tourist activity has also been decided on. There are many forms of water towers presented along the walls, the largest being "PhoenixTower" and the most unique being "TheBaguaguanCastle”. Almost twenty water towers of Huangyaguan Great Wall have been repaired which runs about 3025 meters. Huangya meaning the Yellow Cliff is a great spot for the tourists because of its natural abundance and surrounding yellow cliffs.
