Great Wall of China

This Chinese Wonder is believed to be the longest man-made structure in the world stretching across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus, over an area approximately measuring 6,700 kilometers (4,163 miles ) from east to west of China. It stretches across the mountains of northern China, winding north and northwest of Beijing. The Great Wall of China was built over 2,000 years ago, by the first emperor of China Qin Shi Huangdi, during the Qin Dynasty (221 B.C - 206 B.C.).
