Chinese New Year in Toronto, Ontario: The Metro Toronto Convention Centre hosts a number of shows by the Divine Performing Arts. You can take walks and bicycle tours specializing in historical and food tours of Chinatown and other ethnic areas of the city. Toronto’s Old Chinatown has a number of restaurants and shops selling Chinese goods. There is a huge Dragon Dance Parade organized here. The city has five more Chinatowns which have their own way of celebrations.

There are shows at the Ottawa National Arts Centre and performances by the Ottawa Chamber Orchestra.
Chinese New Year in Calgary, Alberta: there is a 3-day celebration organized by the Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre. It ends in a gala evening with the Dragon and Lions Dance.
