The Chinese new year celebration in Chicago is a special one with a long list of evens and programs lined up during the event ceremony. For innumerable years, Chinatown has been a unique tourist attraction in Chicago. There is a colorful decorated gate with a Chinese inscription that declares the “The world is for all”. This whole thing stands at the Cermak Road and Wentworth Avenue intersection. There is landmark of Chinese architecture which was formerly the Chinese Merchants Association Building. The buildings and the available inscriptions point out to the deep rooted traditions and the cultures that have managed to penetrate even on a foreign soil.
