2 eggs, with whites and yolks separated
1 tablespoon flour
1 -1/3 cups glutinous rice flour
1/3 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup Chinese dried fruits
1 piece crystallized ginger
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Firstly oil a cake pan. Beat the egg whites with a spatula until it becomes stiff. Cream the butter and the sugar simultaneously. Add the egg yolks and mix it thoroughly. Add glutinous rice flour and mix then add about half of the milk. Continue pouring the rice flour and the milk alternately until the entire amount is mixed in. Stir in the fruits of your taste and then pour the beaten egg whites, folding them into the cake batter. Place the cake batter into the pan and steam, covered, for about one hour. When cooled cut into thin slices.
