China is the country having the largest population in the entire world. Its area is around 9,596,960 sq km and the population of the country amounts to around 1 billion. This also provides an explanation for the crowded towns and cities of China. The Chinese people from ages have lived under the fear of war, famine, floods and many different systems of the government. But now the conditions have started improving as many industries, trade and farming have started improving. But now also people of China have little say in the government decisions.

Owing to the dense population of China, there are 56 national groups like Hui, Miao, Bai Tibetans, Mongols and many more groups in china. The majority of the Chinese people are Han Chinese. Chinese people have always been known for their respect of their ancients and elders.

For Chinese people the ancestors are second to God and hence most of their festivals are surrounded towards the ancestors. Chinese people are also known for their belief in the family values and hence you will always find extended families in China. people.

In fact the Chinese homes are always crowded as many generations live together under one roof. The population of the China has increased to such an extent that the Chinese government has started giving privileges to the families having one child. Mostly the people of China reside in the flats owned by the government though many people live in their own homes also. While preparing the Chinese homes much care is taken of the landscape and the weather conditions in China.



The main religious belief of the Chinese people is that the universe is composed of two forces, which are Yin, the feminine and Yang, the masculine. A combination of both these forces is required for maintaining a balance in the universe. In fact the welfare of the world, body and soul are dependant largely on the balance of these forces. The main religions followed by the people of China are Buddhism, Islam and Christianity. The main festivals celebrated by the Chinese people are the Chinese New Year, The The lantern Festival, The Qingming festival, The Dragon boat Festival, The mid-Autumn Festival, The Double Ninth festival and Christmas.

The Education system in China admits the children to school at the age of six. At the age of six children start going to the primary school and after five years the secondary school starts for them. The main things taught to the children at the school are patriotism, politeness, punctuality, cleanliness, honesty and discipline. According to the education rules those students who set the best example for others are given a chance to join the Young Pioneers Youth organization and are given a red handkerchief to wear.
